November 2025: Unmissable Events Around Lake Garda, Verona, Cortina and Venice!

Tourism slows down, days become shorter, but places reveal themselves. November is an understimated month that gifts you more real and intimate experiences. Lake Garda gets covered in amber reflextions, Verona gathers around culture and slow steps, the Dolomites get ready to rest with walks that still feel like autumn and Venice becomes Venetian again, free from the overturism of the high season.

Here are the unmissable events in November.

Lake Garda and Sorroundings

October 30 – November 2 – Vivi Vintage Market, Lazise

In the charming Dogana Veneta facing the lake, the Vivi Vintage Market returns: two exposition floors dedicated to fashion, design, vinyl, interior design and vintage accessories. It’s not only shopping, but an emotional dive among iconic objects, antique games, and forgotten curiosities.

An appointment that mixes up beauty and nostalgia in one of the most elegant place on Lake Garda.

October 31 – November 9 – Strie di Mondragon, Lazise

Inside the ancient walls of Lazise castle, Prà del Principe Park transforms in an enchanted village. “Strie di Mondragon” is much more than an Halloween themed event: it’s a parallel world made of witches, shows, magic workshops, wicked street food and handmade markets. Children get lost among magic potions and mysterious stories, adults enjoy an event that blends fantasy and community. And for Lazise residents, there is a little gift, too: free entry with talismans to participate in the activities. A perfect opportunity to experience the magic of your own home with new eyes.

November 11 – St. Martin Celebration, Peschiera del Garda

The St. Martin celebration, in the heart of Peschiera, is one of those commemoration that doesn’t seek tourists, but speaks to the community – and to everyone that want be a part of it, even if only for one day. The religious celebration takes place alongside evening bonfires on Ponte dei Voltoni, with mulled wine, music and the scent of typical sweets. It’s a different way to experience the lake: feeling welcomed with a warm glass in hand and the sense of being in the right place.

Verona and Province

October 31 – November 2– Zuccaland, Scaliger castle of Villafranca

Inside the walls of the Scaliger Castle, returns one of the most original and loved autumn events in Verona: Zuccaland. A (long) weekend dedicated to the autumnal atmosphere in all its form, with pumpkins as absolute protagonists – not only as decorations, but also as ingredients, characters, inspiration for games, workshops and traditional dishes. It’s an event for families but also for those who want to experience a different day, among seasonal tastings, creativity and a bit of magic. The castle dresses in orange, sorrounded by markets, laughter and the scent of autumn.

November 6 – 9 – Fieracavalli, VeronaFiere

An entire world dedicated to horses, sport, culture and passion. Fieracavalli is much more than an exposition: it’s an international point of reference for riding enthusiasts, but also an unforgettable event for the whole family. Top-level sports competitions, stunning exhibitions, themed pavilions to explore, horses of every breed and origin: Verona becomes the capital of the equestrian. And even non-riders can be enchanted by the timeless relationship between humans and horses — a celebration of tradition, innovation, and pure spectacle.

November 16 – Eurospin Verona Run Marathon

Running in Verona, with the finish in Piazza Bra near the Arena, is in itself a powerful experience. But this marathon – with trails suitable for all levels – is also an occasion to see the city from a different perspective: that of rhytm, breath, shared steps. Family, athletes, groups of friends come together on a light Sunday, filled with sport, music and smiles. Even those who don’t run can enjoy the show along the route, in a city that for one day beats as one.

November 21 – MineralShow, VeronaFiere

A particular, charming event for those who love to observe the beauty of the most hidden nature:  MineralShow is a universe made up of gems, fossils, crystals and rare stones, narrated by exhibitors and collectors. It is one of those exclusive appointments that surprise even the skeptical. Walking among the stands of VeronaFiere, one can be sorrounded by ancient stones, tiny fossils that speak of million of years, minerals with unique colours. There is something hypnotic about seeing the earth transformed into beauty, about touching the world’s raw materials.  Even if you are not a collector, you cannot leave whitout learning something – or without a little piece of the world in your pocket.

November 7-23 – Taste of Earth, Isola della Scala

In this part of the Veronese province, November is the month of the deep flavors. The “ Taste of Earth” exhibition is a tribute to roots: of the land, the cuisine, the people. Alongside Veneto’s big classic dishes — from steaming risotto to handmade pasta — you’ll find yourself immersed in a mosaic of European cuisine: Spanish tapas, Valencian paella, Greek moussaka, würstel and Austrian strudel.

Walking through the stands is like crossing small parts of Europe, each with its own history to tell and a dish ready to be shared.

Cortina and the Dolomites

November 3 – San Leonardo Riding, Badia (BZ)

This is one of the most felt Ladin and South Tyrolean traditions. In San Leonardo (Badia Valley) a solemn and scenic riding takes place, where horses cross the villages together with traditional costumes, musical bands ad entire communities. This is an identity ritual that unites spirituality and a sense of belonging. For those who love places that protect their roots, this is an event not to be missed.

November 11 – St. Martin Fires, Predazzo (TN)

When Evening comes, in different parts of Val di Fiemme, big bonfires are lit in honor of St. Martin.

In Predazzo, this tradition turns into an evening with ancient charm, where fire becomes a meeting point and a shared memory. It’s a simple, yet deeply evocative moment, when the mountains reveal its warmest side: one made of unions, traditions, fire and community.

All November – Autumn Walkings and “Almost Empty” Mountain Huts.

There isn’t a specific event, but rather a rare occasion: to experience the Dolomites without hurry. The autumn colours are still there for some weeks, the larches turn to gold and the alpine lakes reflect increasingly clear skies. Few tourists, a muffled silence, natures slowly retreating, it’s the perfect moment to climb, breathe and listen to the sound of your own footsteps alongside a quite trail.

Venice and the Lagoon

November 11 – St. Martin Celebration

In Venice, St. Martin’s day is for children. They wander through the alleys with pots and lids, making noise and asking for sweets or a few coins. It’s a simple celebration that speaks of a city still alive in its traditions, in its small and sincere rituals. Experiencing it, is like looking behind the scenes of a Venice that doesn’t seek the camera lens, but preserves the heart of its heritage.

November 21 – Madonna della Salute Celebration

This is one of the most heartfelt celebration for Venetians: a collective pilgrimage that begins from every corner of the city and crosses the Grand Canal to reach the Basilica della Salute. Candles, silence, greetings. Venice stops and in that slowing down becomes deeply spiritual.

Those who take part — even just as observers — feel the depth of the moment and the meaning it holds for those who have lived in the Lagoon for centuries.

Until November 23 – Biennale Architettura 2025

Last chance to visit one of the most visionary edition of the last years: the theme — “Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective.” —explores the dialogue between architecture and the great themes of the future: technology, sustainability and shared intelligence. But beyond its content, what makes the Biennale truly special is the way it blends with the city: the pavilions at the Giardini, the Arsenale, the collateral exhibitions scattered throughout historic palaces. Walking from one place to another is already a journey, with the lagoon as a backdrop and art as your compass.

November is not just a month: it’s an invitation.

It doesn’t have the clamor of summer nor the luminous enchantment of Christmas. But November looks you in the eye and invites you to stay a little longer, to observe carefully, to listen to the places when they speak softly.

It’s the perfect month for those who don’t seek crowds but connection. For those who travel to understand, not just to see. And these events, each in their own way, tell the stories of territories that haven’t paused. On the contrary. They are more alive than ever — only, a bit more authentic.
