Corcoran Magri Properties to open new office in Verona
Having launched earlier this year as The Corcoran Group’s first European affiliate,
Corcoran Magri Properties plans to expand their Northern Italian footprint to Verona.
NEW YORK, NY – SEPTEMBER 25, 2023 – Corcoran Group, LLC today announced its first
European affiliate, Corcoran Magri Properties, plans to expand with a new office in Verona, Italy,
opening in the coming weeks. Owned and led by Maddalena Magri, Corcoran Magri Properties
joined The Corcoran Group in March of this year as the brand’s first European affiliate, located
on the shores of Lake Garda, Italy.
Positioned southeast of Lake Garda, the city of Verona sits between the major metros of Milan
and Venice. Considered the “City of Love,” Verona serves as the setting for two of William
Shakespeare’s iconic plays, Romeo and Juliet and The Two Gentlemen of Verona. Alongside
this title, Verona is one of the largest tourist destinations in Northern Italy, featuring numerous
historical monuments like the Arena di Verona, a beautifully preserved Romanesque
architectural marvel dating back over 2,000 years, ultimately having the entire city deemed a
UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000.
The proximity of Verona to Lake Garda, as well as the popularity of Verona amongst native
Italians, international investors, and cultural enthusiasts, makes the city an ideal location for
Corcoran Magri Properties’ second office.
“The Northern Italian real estate market continues to develop and grow in popularity with
interest from consumers both domestically and internationally,” said Maddalena Magri, Broker
and Owner of Corcoran Magri Properties. “Our new, centrally located office in Verona will allow
Corcoran Magri Properties to continue to meet the needs of our clients, while ensuring that we
stay at the forefront of this exciting market we call home.”
Corcoran Magri Properties was founded as Immobiliare Magri in 1987 as a family-run business
led by Luigi Magri, whose trustworthy character, sincere business practices, and earnest
demeanor made him a renowned agent within the area since the 1950s. In 2013, Luigi’s
daughter, Maddalena Magri, acquired majority control of the company, and alongside co-owner
Francesco Visentin, further developed the organization while continuing to protect the familial
values and overall local influence the business is recognized for.
In May of this year, Pamela Liebman, President & CEO of The Corcoran Group, traveled to Lake
Garda to celebrate Corcoran Magri Properties official opening under their new banner, noting
that the team’s “dedication to client service is exactly what we look for when partnering with
affiliates, it perfectly aligns with Corcoran’s established culture and core values.”
Corcoran Magri Properties’ new Verona office is centrally located at Via Guglielmo Oberdan 14,
Verona, VR 37121, and allows the team’s experienced and newly associated agents to further
serve their esteemed clients across their Northern Italian operations. Alongside this new Verona office, the company will continue to operate out of their initial office, opened in 2000, in Garda,
Corso Italia.
In addition to their real estate endeavors, Corcoran Magri Properties exemplifies their dedication
to community service through active contributions of both time and resources to charitable
causes, with a special focus on Mission Bambini. Established in 2000, Mission Bambini is
dedicated to offering healthcare, elementary education, and emergency assistance to
disadvantaged children not only in Italy, but also in various global locations.
For 50 years, Corcoran has stood for excellence in real estate, following their tagline, “Live Who
You Are,” by providing a human-first approach to real estate that has made it one of the
industry’s most luminous brands. Through the company’s strong history of sales, Corcoran has
become a leader in their company-owned regions of New York City, where the brokerage has
been ranked #1 based on residential sales volume for the last several years, the Hamptons, as
well as Miami and Palm Beach in South Florida – some of America’s most luxurious markets.
Expanding upon the brand’s presence, Corcoran’s affiliate network has grown steadily both
domestically and abroad, since its launch in February 2020. In 2022 alone, Corcoran welcomed
and expanded affiliates in California, Florida, Connecticut, Washington, Georgia, Tennessee,
New Jersey, New York, Cayman Islands, and Turks & Caicos.
